National Sport body requires coaches for all sports complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC). Also we can't get insurance for coaches that have not completed the CRC.
If you already have one from 2022, 2023 or 2024 atttach a scanned copy or picture during registration or send it to skybasketball@sasktel.net. If you sent a CRC for these years to SKYbasketball already it should be on file.
If you don't have it now leave the CRC blank on the registration. When you obtain your CRC email a scanned copy or picture to skybasketball.ca. If you would like a letter to confirm that you are a volunteer coach for Saskatchewan Youth Basketball send an email to skybasketball@sasktel.net with your full name and birth date. Please send your CRC asap so that you will be insured.
Exceptions:
- Coaches under 18 do not require Criminal Record Checks
- Teachers have CRC through their school on the registration form there is a place to provide the school that you teach at.
- Law enforcement already have CRC on the registration form there is a place to provide the organization.
